:: APP 101 :: Due Today :: 10 Points

WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: App Development...What are apps? How do we interact with them? What kinds of things do apps do?

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Apps are designed to solve a problem by providing a service

HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED: Today you will sign in and learn and answer questions about various apps!!

Lets get started:

For this assignment, you will need an App Topic form and a pencil!

Now, you will create an app that teaches your classmates about any topic you find interesting. Along the way you’ll learn how to use many of the features of App Lab as well as skills that will help you when building more apps throughout this class.

EXAMPLE:

Survey your classmates!

Leave your paper and pencil on your desk

Stand up and take your back pack off!

Move to the next computer and read what the topics are and are about

Get feedback by the topic:

What was the app your classmates liked the best?

Is it something you think you can make?

Would you choose a different topic than the one your classmates liked?

Based on your research you identified requirements for what your app must teach your classmates.

Tonight...

Think about your app! What do you want it to do? What would you change based on what you have seen today?

Things you MUST have in your APP:

You will need to fill out the following form with questions about your app!

Once completed, click SUBMIT on the form

THE FORM IS WORTH 10 POINTS (Total)

NOTE: IDK is NOT an answer!
